About Catherine
I've returned to the Syracuse area after 7 years, living first outside Philadelphia & then recently in the Hudson Valley.
I love to learn, travel to new places, read, perform, teach, and go for long walks. Finding a new road or a new place to eat are favorite pastimes.
Most of all, I love spending time with friends and family, & am especially proud of my daughter, therapist Maggie Osinski, & my grand-dog Shaymus, all compelling reasons to return to CNY!

Teaching
I teach private voice & acting, and I work as a yoga therapist & yoga teacher. I focus on body alignment & movement awareness in my acting, voice & yoga sessions. I'm an experienced theater educator & director, and taught theater, voice lessons & choral music in NYS public schools for over 30 years.
Other teaching experience:
-Workshops in the Hudson Valley include Actor's Connection to Movement and Articulation Workshop for High School Performers
-Regular workshop presenter for the NYSTEA Student Conferences & NYSTEA Professional Development Days.
-Taught Beginner & Gentle Yoga classes​, Releasing the Voice Through Yoga, Movement & Asanas- Exploring the Chakras, and The Yoga Teacher's Voice at Yoga Life Institute in Pennsylvania. ​​​
